Peter Hacon (left 1948) Those who knew me may remember that
in the last couple of years at school, together with Alan Lebof, I became
interested in photography. On leaving school I became a junior/trainee at a
small commercial photography firm. Progressing up the scale through a few firms
and taking lots of professional photography exams I spent 3 years with one of
the top London advertising studios whilst teaching part time at Regent St.
Poly', before leaving London in Jan 1960 to teach professional photographers
full time. I can't think of any way I would rather have spent the last 38 years
of my working life - being paid to do what I wanted to do anyway. |
