Sam Spruce  (1946-48) 

I joined WCG around 1946 for a couple of years.  I sat behind June Prodger and Mair Issacs in class and apart from art and taking part in plays did very little to attract attention.  My best friend was Don Raftery who later emigrated to Australia with his parents.
I also many years later emigrated to Australia with my wife and two young children.  Now living out my old age in Royston Herts. I am now 77 but very much alive and kicking.  My interests are Spurs and golf which I played for 50 years and still play although not quite so well.
