Wally Gilmore   (1944-49)

At present most of my time is spent studying, as an adult learner, at RAU, Rand Afrikaans University Jbg, South Africa.  Have obtained all of my business qualifications from RAU.  Am busy with an HR diploma /degree, via distance learning, at present.

Was so pleased to see those long forgotten faces in the class photos.  Some I have kept in contact with, others sadly have died, others seem to be to frail to reply to my letters, post cards over the years.

At 70 years of age I enjoy basic good health.  Still enjoy my life.  Get 'out and about' including visits to the U.K.  Enjoy the company of my wife, we share several interests.  Plus of course I love to drive my classic M/ Benz motor car.

We've lived in South Africa for 31 years, both are naturalised South Africans, since 1977.  Very happy here.  Had our 'upsets' but they occur wherever you live.  We find S.A. a very vibrant country.  Rarely a dull moment under these African skys!!
